Happy Holidays from Andrews International
As the 2010 Holiday Season is upon us, it is a time for reflection, giving thanks, and celebration. Unfortunately charitable organizations are facing yet another year of serious funding shortfall. The Chronicle of Philanthropy is reporting that more than one-third of 
nonprofits saw donations fall in the first nine months of the 2010 year and one in five expects to make cuts in spending next year because of the poor fund-raising climate, even though many groups report escalating demand for services.
With this in mind, in lieu of the traditional annual client holiday parties and gifts, Andrews has decided to continue with the adopted charitable donation activity began in 2009 which redirects theses allotted funds to support additional donations to local charities and public organizations this holiday season and throughout 2011.
These contributions will help fuel the efforts of invaluable health organizations including the Diabetes Research Institute and Tuesday's Children. They will also be used to support youth service programs offered by groups such as the Big Sister Association, who helps girls reach their full potential through positive mentoring programs. In 2011, Andrews will be supporting the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) which has a mission to: help prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation; help find missing children; and to assist victims of abduction and sexual exploitation, their families, and the professionals who serve them.
Andrews International has long prided itself on supporting both local and national organizations that are dedicated to improving the quality of life of groups and individuals in need and strengthening communities. While we will miss the festivities of our annual holiday party, we hope you agree with us that at this particular time in our nation’s history, the right thing to do is to increase support to these organizations that desperately need our help.
