Company’s Global Expansion Continues with Opening of 5 New Offices in Canada in Response to Client Needs and Market Demand for Higher Quality Security Services; Industry Veteran Ron Fewer Named Senior Director of Canadian Operations

LOS ANGELES – October 5, 2010 – Andrews International, the largest privately-held, American-owned full-service provider of security and risk mitigation services, announced it has opened five (5) new offices in Canada to expand the delivery of its security services in provinces throughout the country. The move follows increasing demands for the company’s services across the region by its international clients, including many Fortune 500 companies, as well as a growing need among Canadian businesses for a higher quality of security services.

The expansion marks the continuation of Andrews International’s strong growth during the past year, fueled by global client needs and consisting of organic business development, alliance-building and acquisition. Earlier this year, the company opened a new office in India to serve clients in the South Asia and the Asia Pacific region. In January, Andrews International acquired A&S Security, expanding operations in its Western U.S. Region. Just months earlier, the company acquired Verasys LLC, adding new offices in Philadelphia, Miami, Tampa, Dallas, Atlanta and Bogotá, expanding service capabilities in all 50 states and Latin America.

Appointed to the post of Senior Director of Canadian Operations is Ron Fewer, a highly regarded industry veteran with more than 25 years experience managing corporate security programs in the region for such companies as Oracle Corporation, Gap Inc. and the Brick Warehouse Corporation. Fewer also served in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police where he was involved in federal and provincial law enforcement and organized crime investigation. Additionally, he has served as an Officer in the Canadian Coast Guard’s Operational Planning Section. Fewer earned a Master of Science Degree in Security & Risk Management from Leicester University in the UK, and holds professional certifications in the fields of security, executive protection and management consulting.
