Andrews International Strengthens Company Leadership with Corporate Security and Enterprise Risk Veteran Petruzzi

John Petruzzi to lead The Andrews International Northeast Region

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (March 9, 2009) - Andrews International, a full service provider of security and risk mitigation services, announces the hiring of John Petruzzi, Jr., CPP, CISM as senior vice president of operations and business development for the Northeast Region. Petruzzi will report directly to Ty Richmond, Chief Operating Officer of Andrews International, and will be based in the company's New York City/Manhattan office.

"John brings to this position a wealth of corporate security and enterprise risk management experience" said Richmond, "His diverse sector background and experience as an end-user and buyer of security services will accentuate the company's Northeast footprint and add to our existing team of strong security professionals."

Petruzzi has more than 18 years of security experience in both the public and private sector. Previously the vice president, corporate security management for Simon Property Group, Petruzzi has extensive experience as the CSO and leader of progressive corporate security functions. During the past 10 years, he has held leadership positions with direct responsibility for managing physical and information security programs in investment banking, public utilities and commercial real estate. Additionally, he has provided consulting service focused on holistic security and enterprise risk management.

Petruzzi has a Bachelors Degree in Security Management from American Military University; an Associates Degree focused in Criminal Justice from Fairmont State University; and has completed the International Security Management Association's (ISMA) Leadership Program, Georgetown University. He maintains board certification with ASIS International's Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Information Systems Audit and Control Association's (ISACA) Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) designations.

Petruzzi is an active volunteer leader with three industry-leading security organizations; ASIS International, ISACA and Information Systems Security Association (ISSA). He is also a key contributor and presenter for the Alliance for Enterprise Security Risk Management (AESRM), a partnership between ASIS, ISSA and ISACA. He has recently served on the advisory board of the CSO Roundtable and is currently a board member for ASIS International. Additionally, Petruzzi has served as a member of ASIS International's Commercial Real Estate Council and the Privacy & Personnel Information Management Council.

Petruzzi's previous affiliations also include the Homeland Security Taskforce of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the CISO forum of ISSA, the Information Risk Executive Council (IREC) of the Corporate Executive Board, and a member of the Commercial Facilities Sector, Department of Homeland Security.
