Ty Richmond, CPP, CFEChief Operating OfficerAs the Chief Operating Officer of Andrews International, Ty Richmond has responsibility and oversight for the operational performance of the company’s U.S. operations; as well as corporate business development, marketing and communications/public relations. Richmond joined Andrews International in 2004 as the senior vice president of consulting and investigations, where he formally established the practice; and then led the national and international expansion of Andrews International. Prior to joining Andrews International, he held several executive management roles at Agilent Technologies, including senior director of the Asia Pacific Shared Services organization, based in Singapore; and corporate director of Global Security, Environment, Health/Safety, and Aviation Travel Services. Richmond was also the manager of Corporate Worldwide Security and Americas Security Manager for Hewlett-Packard before the divestiture of Agilent. His corporate security background also includes senior management and executive level positions for more than twenty (20) years in the energy, cosmetics, transportation, consumer and high-tech sectors; as well as experience in public law enforcement for nearly eight years prior to his transition into corporate America. Richmond holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management and is board certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is also LEAN Six Sigma certified; and is a member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) and American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS); where he has served on several commissions and special committees; to include logical and physical security convergence, international investigations, information technology protection and the business practices council. Richmond is also a frequent and recognized speaker on the subjects of security strategy planning, international security issues, and enterprise security and risk management. He has contributed to numerous worldwide media and publications, including newspapers and magazines such as; LA Times, Dallas Morning News, USA Today and Security Management magazine.
